Wei-Chuan U.S.A., Inc. support the goals of the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010 and strive to make clear our commitment to fair labor standards and helps ensure that we align ourselves with suppliers that share this commitment.

Our efforts so far in aligning with the Act's requirements include the following:

VERIFICATION

In order to accomplish these goals, Wei-Chuan U.S.A., Inc. performs pre-employment screening on candidates and conducts hiring procedure for newly-hired employees. The candidates or newly-hired employees who have risk factors may be disqualified from employment.

Wei-Chuan U.S.A., Inc.'s Standards for Suppliers require suppliers must comply with all applicable U.S. federal, state and local laws regarding slavery and human trafficking. Additionally our suppliers must adopt and maintain terms of employment for their employees that comply with local law and requirements of decency.

AUDITS & CERTIFICATIONS

Wei-Chuan U.S.A., Inc. reserves the right to verify our Supplier's compliance with Wei-Chuan U.S.A., Inc. Supplier Code. Such audits or on-site inspections are including interviews of the supplier's employees in order to evaluate supplier's compliance with Wei-Chuan U.S.A., Inc. standards for trafficking and slavery in supply chains; it helps our company become aware of any actions or conditions not in compliance with our Code through the audit. Such audits or inspections can be carried out by Wei-Chuan U.S.A., Inc. or by a third party at Wei-Chuan U.S.A., Inc.s' request. Wei-Chuan U.S.A., Inc. requires that its suppliers comply with all applicable local and international legislation. A program, Supplier Survey Regarding Slavery and Human Trafficking, has being developed that will help us to accomplish our goals on complying with all applicable U.S. federal, state and local laws regarding slavery and human trafficking.

ACCOUNTABILITY & TRAINING

Wherever we do business, our employees are required to comply with all applicable laws. We also have trained our employees to understand the act and make efforts to mitigate human trafficking and slavery risks. We investigate issues and take the appropriate action up to and including termination of associates and termination of agreements for suppliers and contractors.

We believe that associate education is fundamental to fully integrating labor compliance and social responsibility into all purchasing decisions and to building a socially and environmentally responsible supply chain.
