The Research and Development (R&D) team guides and advances each detail step of food development. Our R&D team consists of innovative and highly skilled food scientists and nutritionist with advanced degrees and broad experiences. They work closely with our Culinary Chef, Operations and Marketing to design, conduct, and analyze the results of research to develop premium food products. Our products include Dumplings, Gyoza, Potsticker, Wonton, Mini Bun, Pan Fry Bun, Entrée, Noodle Bowl, Rice Bowl, Spring Roll, Egg Roll, Wrapper, and many more.
One strength of our R&D team is the ability to custom formulate a product for a business customer. A business customer can provide their product specifications and our R&D team will develop and perfect the food product exclusively for their business. With local and global resources, our R&D team strives to meet the needs of our customers.
From the beginning, the R&D team works closely with culinary chefs to develop recipes inspired by authentic traditional flavors. Raw ingredients are evaluated for flavor and quality. Through skill, creativity, and experience, recipes are brought to life to become appetizing products. The R&D team works with Operations to make these products producible. During production, the products must pass tests in weights, color, texture, and taste to meet our high standards. The final products are high quality, safe, and nutritious. Furthermore, for our retail products, the R&D team collaborates with Marketing on packaging and design to bring to our customers the delectable Wei-Chuan brand products people know and enjoy.
